I'm way too busy with the other 3 maps to code for JotO atm Sad
Plus it needs a total terrain rework.
The spells and abilities in it are so original, though, i think i might aswell use them to replace some of the default stuff in RD, like spells for some hero types or some units.
How does it sound?

Well... good.
Tbh I liked how the lich works and I think it'd be nice if the transcendant magus became a lich when he died (with the darkness upgrade that revives your dead into darkness unit)

I was exactly thinking about the Lich and the Sun dragon when i said that Smile
Now that you mention Darkness, i can only see this going right.
When i think about it, RoM/JotO was about Magic vs Technology, in the first place. And the Magic side was imbued with darkness, and had some Nature stuff.
All of this just sounds like perfect material for RD. The material i've been needing for all these custom effects :/
Damn why do i have to realize this the day i start being forced to stop coding and focus on school work :///

In that case Magic would be darkness and nature and magic while technology would be science, alchemy and the social builders / or without them.

y'know sthg in RD has kinda annoyed me. The way I build stuff too close to each other cause I don't have much space for my 10k buildings. And I don't have the space cuz there's mountains and rivers and trees everywhere, preventing me from being able to make a nice base without a berlin wall... Also, peasants are really slow compared to size of buildings and it takes hours to move em to somewhere to build. (that can't be fixed though Sad ) And all those stuff just get me a headache when I look at my base, full of infantry, cavalry, pesants not knowing where to go and buildings close to each other like...
I dunno if you can somehow find a solution of that problem bringing headaches probably not just mine. I'll think about it too.
Errrm, wait this as a JotO thread woops. Very Happy
I'll leave it here for now though, I'll move if it becomes a whole new topic.
